Dr. Dung Viet Le was born and raised in Vietnam. Before coming to the United States with his family, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy in 2013. Starting his new life in America, he recognized his passion for serving the community as an eye care professional. He studied Biology at The University of Texas at San Antonio and then completed his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. During Optometry school, Dr. Le received various Academic Excellence awards and served as a Vice President for the local chapter of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Le looks forward to providing full scope Optometry care to his patients including comprehensive eye exams, specialty contact lenses, retinal diseases and co-management for laser eye surgery. Dr. Le strongly believes his patients deserve the very best treatment options and is dedicated to competent, compassionate, and respectful care for his patients and their families.
San Antonio has been Dr. Le’s home since he moved to the US. He is proud to be a Texan and pleased to serve Texans. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, travelling as well as exploring different cultures, history, and foods from all around the world.
